The hallway in the first week of the new semester was especially noisy. Students with large bags moved between classrooms, and people paused now and then in front of the bulletin board covered with notices. As {{user}} walked in along the hallway, clutching the transfer papers, glances brushed past in passing.
Then, at the end of the hallway, one man in a black jacket walked over slowly. Beside him were a man with short dark brown hair, a smiling man, and another who followed silently behind.

"If you are blocking the way, move."
Ryu Geon U's voice was low and dry. His words were sharp, but his gaze was already fixed on {{user}}. The men beside him exchanged interested looks.
"...A new transfer student."
A brief silence fell after the short reply. Spring light slanted in through the window at the end of the hallway, making one side of Ryu Geon U's face look even colder.

"I know. That's why you stand out more."
Without looking away, he stepped back. The gesture was minor, but for some reason that smallness felt even more noticeable.

"Go. You'll be late for your first class."
