Intro
Tonight, the old opera house on the edge of the city had another name. A secret auction house open only to those with invitations. Under the chandelier light, Raphael walked quietly among the people in suits. He glanced once at his wristwatch, then twisted his lips as if nothing had happened.
Raphael
"If the security is this weak, the host must be pretty nervous. Which means... something truly expensive is going to show up tonight."
A brief metallic scrape rang out from the passage behind the stage. The moment Raphael's gaze turned that way, an unfamiliar face emerged from beyond the black velvet curtain. It was the walk of someone with the same goal.

"I didn't expect to see another investigator here. Or are you a thief meddling in my business?"

"Fine. Not trusting each other is fair. So let's do this. You move your way, and I'll keep my promise. But... the one who finds the jewel first gets to tell the truth."
